Celerity Systems, Inc. Engages Continental Capital & Equity Corporation to Launch Financial Public Relations Campaign
KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 1999--Celerity Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CLRT) today announced that it has engaged the financial public relations services of Florida-based Continental Capital & Equity Corporation to pro-actively increase awareness of the Company among the investing community, at large.

Specifically, Celerity Systems will be featured in an Inside Wall Street direct mail program intelligently targeting over 100,000 investors, as well as appear on Continental Capital's web site, www.insidewallstreet.com.

According to Ken Van Meter, CEO and President of Celerity: "In light of our merger with FutureTrak International, Inc., management believes that we are well positioned to offer investors a unique opportunity to capitalize on the growing excitement surrounding the total convergence of digital technologies. Celerity/FutureTrak intends to leverage its combined strengths to deliver to the multi-housing unit marketplace Internet, video, email, on demand movies, and home energy management among numerous other services via a user-friendly set-top box. With the implementation of our business plan rapidly underway, the time couldn't be any better for Celerity to arrive center stage on Wall Street."

Dodi Zirkle, Chief Operating Officer of Continental Capital, added: "After spending considerable time evaluating Celerity/FutureTrak's business model and marketing strategies, meeting its new management team and researching the industry potential, we are quite pleased to have been selected by the Company to launch an international financial relations campaign on their behalf. Celerity/FutureTrak's innovative and financially compelling approach to providing interactive services to the huge and growing population of apartment/condo dwellers, via the television, qualifies the Company as an undervalued situation worthy of mass market attention -- especially after factoring in peer comparisons and market trend indicators. We look forward to playing a vital role in assisting the Company to elevate recognition of its exciting market potential and long term investment appeal."
