What other reason would Sun have to want the crown jewels?>>> Most companies which asked for access to their business partner's proprietary source codes want to integrate seamlessly with their new products, not to try copying what their partner is doing. i.e. Sun will be more knowledgeble in designing their hardware/software, knowing how their packets are handled once they left their host, through the HBA and through the switch(es) and so on. This kind of practices are fairly common in my experience. KJ
