IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 1999--DV Studio Technologies, LLC(TM) (www.dv-studio.com) announced today that the award-winning Panasonic LF-D101 DVD-RAM Drive is now available in the Apollo Expert Archiver(TM), DV Studio's complete solution for archiving VHS and other video standards onto DVD discs.

The Apollo Expert Archiver features Apollo Expert (TM), DV Studio's revolutionary single-board MPEG-2 encoding hardware and software. A half-size PCI card that can be installed in any Pentium-based computer, Apollo Expert captures video and audio from any video source, in real time, and converts it into MPEG-2 video and digital audio formats.

The highly compressed MPEG-2 files created by Apollo Expert can be used in any digital domain including DVD, DVD-ROM, Super VCD, the Internet, and broadcasting. Apollo Expert provides excellent video quality and is very easy to install and use.
