I have been on vacation for the past 2 weeks but have followed this soap opera as best I could. IMO it is very unlikely Freeport screwed up. The assay results from Busang are much too important for Freeport to jump to an early conclusion without doing all the due deligence their technical people felt was necessary. Freeport drilled 7 holes, 4 of which were twins and Freeport found "insignificant" amounts of gold. Also it was report on Dow Jones today that at least 2 gold analyst who had been to Busang and had core samples had their samples assayed and found no gold. This is very scary. There is no way Freeport is playing games with this in the hopes of buying BXM on the cheap as they would be an easy target for a BXM class action lawsuit. If the gold is there as BXM states then I wouldn't be surprised if Suharto and company are behind this and IMO they will use this as an excuss to take the rest of the deposit. Everyone must come to their own conclusion about this mess but I dont like the smell of this. Good luck to everyone.
