As Merlin would say, Ahhemmm........gentlemen, I believe I've been touting Rambus on this thread for about 4 or 5 months. If you're the LindyBills, then what would I be labeled? I've been averaging in since January.<vbg>
Seriously, it is rather exciting to see other members of the investment club take a position. In recent days, Chaz, UpNorth, Jill, Glenda, JOel and others(?)have been taking up positions in Rambus. As I have said before, I do think that Rambus will become a gorilla with a new memory standard that is discontinuous, and represents enabling hardware by allowing development of killer apps. It's model is IPR, fabless and low overhead. However, be forewarned.....Q's March/April launch this year, might not happen for Rambus until next year in the Spring with announcement of 1st Qtr earnings. Rambus is a buy and hold play for me.
Also, let me say that while I have been bringing information to this thread on Rambus since May/June, in truth, my research is not original, but almost entirely borrowed from UncleWest, the tireless SI Rambus thread maestro and optimist, and other threadmates there. In bringing this to G & K, I wanted to share this info with a group of really smart and experienced people. Likewise, Rambus has been a great platform for me to test my limited knowledge of G & K principles.
