Well I find 98 a real pain in the ass to setup. But my statement reflects the overall conclusion of the Linux Journal article that both OSes can present problems. In many cases the hardware selection of the PC in question will dictate which is the easier or more difficult. But to me at least fdisk and disk druid have quick feedback as to what they do. The miles and miles of borg gui gui provide no sense of direction. But that's just a matter of taste.

In general windows howto books explain howto click and give no insight as to what your doing. With Linux where most things are text strings in text files, example and explanations are much easier to figure out.
