StatsCan's Y2K report called 'unbelievable'

Cipher Systems president scoffs at findings that most large firms will have fix in place.

"I still have people calling me that haven't started," said Jennifer McNeill, president of Calgary-based Cipher Systems Inc. and chair of the Western Canada Y2K User Group.

Even small to medium-sized companies who tell StatsCan they are working on Y2K are "very shortsighted," she said.

"I have CEOs of oil and gas companies who tell me they're not going to fix anything. They're going to see what happens...

Cripes, when you read info like the bolded section above it makes you wonder just how big these guys are, where they fit in to the supply line and more importantly are you holding their stock? <ggg>
