Well, I would think that there are a few people in NOVL internal that are celebrating his departure. Everything
I have heard from many insiders was that he was not liked because he was out of touch with the new NOVL
directions and products. When the report says that his departure was not friendly, I can easily understand why.

I saw clear evidence of his "lost touched with NOVL" attitude when I was at the Global Partners Forum and he was saying that he
didnt want to take NOVL into the Internet space and they should focus on the Enterprise. That set of
statements almost made me fall off my chair. Then later in the year in a press interview he stated that he didnt know yet
where they were taking Digital-Me.

I think NOVL recovered despite Slitz being at the Marketing helm. I am sorry for my negative
comments/opinons of him but I think this is good news for NOVL IMHO!

Now NOVL MUST get a Marketing VP with aggression, drive, and a willingness to go after generating interest
in the new spaces in the market - Internet, e-commerce, app-serving.
