The more articles I read on Asia and it's Internet growth the more I'm astounded by it's potential.

Following is two articles by the well respected Research firms of Gartner and Yankee Groups.

Gartner Sees Big Growth In Asia's E-C Market, China As #2

Highlights- Growth will be led by the uptake in business-to-business transactions, which GartnerGroup predicts will skyrocket to US$280 billion in 2003 from just US$8 billion in 1999. Business-to-consumer transactions, on the other hand, will grow sharply from US$5 billion to US$40 billion during the same period.

Globally, the research group expects business-to-business transactions will reach US$800 billion by 2003 while consumer transactions over the Web will exceed US$170 billion during the same period.

GartnerGroup also noted that the Internet access market will continue to experience high growth, especially with the emergence of broadband access that will fundamentally change the online experience for users.
