I guess you did not read LS's holiday effect analysis from the 1900's.. Yep he was there when it all began and noted it in his little red book.. Market drops a little before the three day holidays when the traders sell and recoveres after the holidays.
People are still very nervous and I saw dumping in almost every stock. Except like NPLS and NTOP which went the other way since the shorts were uneasy on those.
