Hi, I haven't heard anything about patent violations. Lol I doubt its improved much since '94. I started using it in '97. Rational is pretty fat on funds. But thats because most of their customers are huge companies with lots of money to spend. But if you're an independent, Rose is pretty pricey. Now with their latest licensing scheme, if you as a developer (independent) fork out the $3600 its illegal to say put it on your laptop and then go beyond a 75 mile radius from where your site is. So jumping on a plane with the software is technically illegal. U have to get special permission / licensing . version 98i has this restriction. Version 98 doesn't.
