For a referral, I would go directly to UCLA, just wouldn't go there for care. Have to deal with all of the med students and interns gawking at you. If you are in the ER of one of the county facilities you have to deal with all of the violence related stuff. USC and UCLA are part of the County group and are both within L.A. city limits. Cedars is supposedly very good. Lots of celebrities go there.

Since I have managed to go this long without a primary care physician, I would weigh my opinions appropriately. I avoid doctor's except for emergencies.
