As I recall the issue with SBET involved operating server farms in the United States which a few states claimed violated their gambling laws when data packets traversed their boundaries. Like CRY and Starnet they were a pioneer, however were besieged with technical issues as well that set them back.

BTW, Anyone know if Cryptologic or on behalf of it's licensees tracks and reports gambling proceeds for the Internal Revenue Service and other foreign tax collection agencies as applicable? Reporting would be necessary to be in compliance with most money laundering statutes worldwide.
