Well if we are having a contest.... Elizabeth, I posted Tinroad's 2,300GB link here at SI/SNDK this morning, beating him by 15 hours! ...then several people posted this story in this thread about 2 or 3 weeks ago! Was in one of the UK weekend newspapers around that time and also on Yahoo. The problem is, you see these 'breakthroughs' announced, and then usually never hear about them again. I'm still waiting for that flatscreen TV 1/4 inch thick I can hang on my wall. The q I have is, if its real (the memory, not the tv!), do the Sandisk patents apply here as well? Joe
