Any male who spends as much time in front of mirrors as your average bodybuilder has got to be a little off. Opinion, yes, but based on observation. Maybe we should ask the women here, who are known to express opinions on occasion, which they prefer, the bodies of athletes or the bodies of bodybuilders. A funny story: I was an AD on the set of Platoon. Most of the 30-odd actors they brought in spent hours in gyms, had a personal trainer, and bulged with muscles in every direction. You should have seen what happened when we asked them to walk a few km up a hill, in the sun. Collapse in a chorus of whines. What a bunch of pussies. I often guide for an adventure travel company; kayaking and mountain trekking. Whenever I see clients with gym-built bodies I know I'm in for a hard time.
