Zorba the Greek! There should be more happier tales than the Eatons story ahead. Many products are prone to obsolescence in retail such as electronics, furniture, appliances. Other equipment for mining, oil and gas, logging, demolition are more specialized so a broad base of buyers is needed to attract the highest price. The Internet can provide such an audience. ActiveAssets will be able to communicate with North America as well as Central and Latin America using their multilingual auction site. And wow that is a lot of people!
