Intel proved it was the best business model, however, as we all concede, AMD has the fastest engineering samples out there now and they will prove that simply having the fastest processor isn't enough. You need a manufacturing infrastructure that can produce a product in volume, at profitable prices and with the required support systems. Simply being the fastest looked like it was enough but you really needed to look deeper. EP
