Pat bet's on cable? It's been awhile since I checked into the old Amati board for old time sake. I found your bet on cable interesting. ADSL takes awhile doesn't it? But if you noticed the CLECS are moving fast such as Covad and Northpoint. During some heated discussion during the good old days I remember the conclusion was that Cable modem has a 1-2 year lead on ADSL but in the end their shared bandwidth would start causing problems and constraints. Do you think this is still true or is it irrelevant now? Peter Piper (your grey haired electronic plumber)
