one savvy veteran investor keeps reminding me its just a few stocks boosting the averages... even the 'blue chips' of the net are down a ton, aol, at home, amzn, etcetera, etcetera... there are guys in toronto who took out a line of credit to buy bid.com (bids) on the nasdaq...stock price peaked at over $ 30 canadian and is now under $ 7 canadian in some cases, the wives are not aware of what they've done, but the silver lining for some of these fellows is that upon spilling the beans they will likely get the divorce they have always coveted <g> ike
