Hi Dorinne: The reason I dont just buy and hold is that I have a big margin debt and I have decided to reduce it just in case the correction does come. Besides I am of the mind that the "yr 2000" scare will bring the market down...and I want to have both cash and buying power when that happens. That said however, I have certainly sold DELL at ridiculous prices in the past and it has hurt my portfolio performance much...I'm up for the year but way down from my high of April. When is your cruise? Freeus
