I stopped by the local Home Depot and visited with the Receiving Manager. Here's what he could tell me about Smith Corona... He said he had received notice of an upcoming "setting change" for Smith Corona. That's the first one he has had there for Smith Corona since he got there almost a year ago. He also said he received a new "plan-o-gram" that's scheduled for the middle of September. He said he wouldn't know details of it until about a week prior. All he knows is that something is supposed to come in around mid-September and it will need a different "setting" than what they have now. He said usually he will know more details about a week prior, but sometimes he might not get the details until the day the product comes in the backdoor. Interesting!
