myth, i haven't checked any quotes except barrick on the canadian side, which was up...i am afraid to look at my 'portfolio' on si here, because if i do, i know i'll see amzn at 150, mu at 75, yada yada, if not today, then tomorrow...i had three very conservative longs that i sold, all at a loss recently...now i find out 2 of them have gone up nicely and have associated takeover rumours...you must ask me what i have and go against me ! this means shorting gold, as you say !
i really don't know what to make of gold now, i'm not hopeful in the near term ,but i think Heinz pointed out, one has to expect some curve balls and hold for awhile...www.goldminingoutlook.com is an excellent site, but the fellow is now on holidays till early september...i am interested in seeing what he says when he comes back...
