Anyone here know where to get the information to daily chart DJIA and NASDAQ 180 or 360 days before the 1987 crash and, if possible, the same thing before October 1929. I just want to isolate those time periods. Want to compare those with today. I know the 1987 crash happened about a month after Fed raised rates three times. We got two strikes right now. Markets seem to be ignoring Greenspan right now. I thought we were supposed to not fight the Fed. If AG sees DOW > 11500 in October will he have no choice but to raise rates again? What happened in 1987 when Fed raised rates for second time. Did DOW also go up? I believe history often repeats itself. People do not change much in 12 years or 60 years for that matter.
