For shame Texas...you've not been keeping up with
the thread
Message 10879673

I've done that a couple times myself--there was an article
in the Seattle Times about Paul Allen's investments, so
I rushed over to that thread to post...it had been dropped off
three times already in previous posts, heheh.

There seems to be an article or at least a couple short
news items whenever I pick up a copy of Nature...if folks
really want to follow the topic, I'd strongly suggest subscribing,
or at least snag that link to nature I dropped off a few days
ago for the freebies.

For the moment I find myself pro GMO, but I can also imagine
a planet overrun with 20B humans, and little islands, parks
for biodiversity, closely guarded and maintained a hundred
years from now. I don't much care for that picture.

My guess is that effort is better spent now to preserve habitat, rainforest etc--rather than worrying about what Monsanto
is planting in Kansas.

Gotta run, see you all next week.
