Smart move from Fore and I am sure they will get some business from it. But I still think for the short term (next couple of years at least) most companies would go with Fast Ethernet. From everything I know, the transition is smoother & less expensive and there seems to be a lot more interest there then on desktop ATM. I watched NPIX on Friday after the news came out & the stock moved up instead of getting hurt from this news... so time will tell.
