My impression was that he was talking about 600 MHz. If he meant 650, then Tom really ought to make a clarification.

It's no surprise that 600 MHz is near the limit for the 0.25 micron Pentium III, so overclocking it is out of the question, even for the multiplier-unlocked versions that Tom has.
