BREIFING: Tellabs (TLAB) 63 5/16 -4 7/16: S.G. Cowen maintains their "strong buy" rating on voice, data and video transport and network access systems; yesterday the issue was up 5.5% on talks of an impending contract with AT&T (T 50 +3/4) for cable-telephony; today the issue is down on threats created by the Cerent acquisition by Cisco (CSCO 69 5/8 +1); S.G. Cowen says, TLAB remains favorite core holding and would be buyers on the dip.....
