Afraid I'm not familiar with the terroistic Calvinism of the 18th and 19th century. Sounds interesting, but I suspect your theory regarding evangelism and violence won't pan out. I'm pissed because I couldn't find the "Allegory in the Cave" story here.http://classics.mit.edu/Search/index.html I know it used to be there with graphs and pictures attached. I once used it in a class when discussing critical thinking. Wasn't exactly the hit I had hoped for. The recent decline in violent crimes is probably due to stiffer sentences. I once read that 70% of violent crimes are caused by repeat offenders. Michael
