I agree. If anybody was to disappear from SI, I would not be any worse off than I am today because I do my own analysis and make my own decisions and don't rely on the influence of a group of people to move a stock.

Personally, I think that all of the gurus should thank SI for allowing them a platform on which they could build their own businesses. No doubt that the relationships were beneficial to both sides, but there is no question in my mind that the respective gurus got the better end of the deal.

Instead of slamming SI, the gurus and the followers of the gurus should be thanking SI for providing such an effective promotional vehicle.
