Independent Survey Ranks HotJobs.com Among the Top Ten Most Recognized E-Commerce Brands
NEW YORK, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- HotJobs.com, Ltd. (Nasdaq: HOTJ - news), a leading Internet employment solutions company, was ranked the sixth most recognized e-commerce brand on the Web in a study released yesterday. The rankings indicate that HotJobs.com is also the number one most recognized job site, beating out its closest rival by 3.7 million Americans.

The August 19th poll measured Internet brand awareness among the estimated total U.S. population of 196 million adults. According to the survey, HotJobs.com is recognized by 50.9 million adults, an increase of 16.4 million since the survey was last conducted four months ago. Other well-known brands named include amazon.com, priceline.com and eBay.com.

``We're thrilled, if unsurprised at the results of the survey,' said Richard Johnson, President and CEO of HotJobs.com. ``People recognize HotJobs.com because we are the best at what we do. We make it easy for job seekers and employers to meet their employment needs.'

Surveys were conducted by Opinion Research Corporation International of Princeton, NJ, as part of its regular omnibus poll. Questions relating to e-commerce were sponsored by priceline.com. In its omnibus studies, the research organization polled a nationally projectable sample of 1,013 adults by telephone over four days. Surveys are projectably accurate to within plus or minus 3 percentage points.
