This just off the BusinessWire PR pipeline: Sun will be making a significant announcement on Tuesday, August 31, 1999 in New York. Scott McNealy, Chairman and CEO, Ed Zander, President & COO, and other senior Sun executives will be on hand to make this strategic announcement. It's at 10:00 EST. Anyone know what it's about? Star Division? Javastation? The announcement also says that Gene Banman will be the third Sun executive there. I believe he is the guy who built the original Javastations...don't know if he still does that. --QS
