RM and thread -

Did anyone happen to see the author of the WSJ article on MP3 players on CNBC today. Quite a big piece.

He had three players there and waas explaining how to go get music from your PC down to the player. He was going on and on and I was really quite impressed that the World ( the adult world that is) was being told about MP3 player since even thogu the adults may not buy them in bulk they at least control the funds and will be interested by the article on CNBC.

Then this guy says that the only downer about these devices is that if you want some more or different music you have to go back to your PC and wipe out what you have and replace it. The only current altenative he say is to put some memory chips ( by which he means CF)in the MP3 player which is fine but they cost hundreds of $.

BTW any ideas about the drop of $9 today? Last time that happened was in early 1998 just before the announcement of the dissapointing results.

Best regards,

L
