Unfortunately she lives 45 minutes away-- and that's when the traffic's clear.
I will ask her about the drugs though,, what she's on..I got the feeling that maybe she does not follow her Rx regimen as religiously as you and I would.
I am a little blurry about what is considered "acceptable". THerapy seems to be a no-no, and she won't even take a tylenol PM, so I would guess she is suffering from some sleep deprivation. I tried to say that taking meds is NOT some kind of denial of God. I'd make a lousy Christian counselor though, as I get mad at a God who would even make rules like this- well, of course I don't think he does..But why do people believe he does????

This woman has the most wonderful deep mezzo voice- so rich that it truly fills your heart when you hear her. We did a recital together.
Our opening piece was from a Bach cantata, a duet, Wir eilen mit Schwachen. In a way, singing together is a very sensual experience- when it "works", it is sublime on a level removed form the ordinary. She is no longer singing. ANd I think this is like tearing wings off a butterfly.
