Wily, Does Rambus bring extra costs to the mother board or is it cheaper? It should be cheaper, because of the narrow datapath. The high speed transmission may cause some additional costs, but fewer wires should be the more significant factor. A more important cost of DRDRAM is the test cost associated with DRDRAM designs. 400MHz double edged testers are very expensive at the present time. Scumbria
