Cross Timbers sold 17mm shares of the Hugoton Royalty Trust, but they retained 23mm shares. They filed to form a Permain Basin Royalty Trust on 8/24/99. This will be 70% oil production, 80% of production to the Trust. biz.yahoo.com I think these RTs are a very good move. Much better than drowning in debt, IMHO.
