If one goes to the source (http://www.sanyo.com) and reads the original PR released by Sanyo, one will find that it explicitly cites EPAC as one of the codecs that is implemented in their device. Further reading reveals that the specifications are an exact match for the licensable device announced in the July 25th PR released by TXN, Liquid Audio, Lucent, Bartlesman, EDIG, and Sandisk. TR PS: Savant, I never received a response from EDIG re the new product being researched by my employer. Can you verify that they are aware of the current state of affairs?
