Yes, "A Demon-Haunted World" is a fine work. Wouldn't it be wonderful to just once find it in a hotel nightstand, rather than Gideon's Bible? Unfortunately, I fear this will be another case of 'preaching to the converted', as the folks who believe in astrology, homeopathy, sky gods, and alien spaceships hiding behind comets, are hardly its most likely readers!
On a related matter, of more pertinence to SI, Jon Carroll wrote a provocative column Monday titled "Let's Teach Financial Literacy". (see:

It is heartbreaking to watch all the cyberfraud in action on so many of the SI threads! And of course, it is the ignorance, irrationality, and of course greed, of naive investors that fuel this crime. (Just read the header on this mindblowing thread:
