2. Investment: Could be base of the first real MS office alternative and should thrive on UNIX and Linux.

If this is an attempt to take back the horizontal desktop with a fat client, I can't see it. That would be fighting the last war. You'd get minimal share out of it; there are still too few other horizontal apps, and Unix is too hard to administer. Trying to make money from a proposition like this is a loser. The only thing they can do IMHO is to give it away free on Windows and use it to help transition people to thin Java clients on desktops.

I'm not saying this is easy, but it's all that makes sense as far as I can see.
