Why NTOP will Fall!!! Amidst all the hype has anyone done any DD on the product. I downloaded it for free today and tried it. So first off, who cares if Compaq puts it on their computers, anyone can get it now. Maybe Microsoft will put it in that junk folder with Compuserve and AOL. I must admit the install was professional, it actually worked first time. Kudo's to the programming team. However, the technology just doesn't work well. I've got a clean dual ISDN and it just wasn't acceptable. I can't imagine wanting to converse with lost words and delays like this thing has. At 28.8 it must be aweful! You can't make free local calls period! It's for saving on long distance. $.049 per minute. You can get that now many places. I wouldn't want to talk to grandma with my voice breaking up for the same price as a good ol phone. Best reason, the stock went from $15 to $80 in a couple weeks on hype. When people realize this isn't going to change the world, it will fall. Just so you know I'm not trying to save my a@@, I already lost it. Shorted two days ago and covered today. Worst trade I've ever made. As you see, I'm still in denial. If I can be this wrong about a company I shouldn't be trading. You review the product and see for yourself. I still hold firm that NTOP must fall. If we get an unfavorable market trend going, more like the end of today's market, I'll get my revenge on NTOP. Please, no flames, I work in a window office 15 stories up.
