If you're truly what you say you are, and if you have any sense at all, you must realize that the real danger comes not from a few nutcases, but from within our own government.
It's the nature of government that the larger it gets, the more repressive it becomes. For an example of just how repressive this administration would like to be, think back to when Clinton floated the proposal of allowing searches to be made, un-announced and without a proper search warrant, in socially and economically deprived areas (public housing).
What alarms me most about all this, is the seeming complicity, or cooperation, of the media. |
