But it doesn't befit you to show interest in sea serpents.
Sea serpents and related reptiles are the kind of stuff for kiddies who love singing

"Puff, the Magic Dragon,
Down by the sea.........etc...."

and reading Grimm's and Christian Anderson's fairy tales.

I believe most of the sightings of sea serpents may be attributable to hallucinations of old-time sailors who were often overcome by a sense of isolation and gripped by 'hunger' and fear on the high seas. BTW, there's an old Portuguese proverb which says, "You haven't learnt to pray until you've been out to sea!"
