Yes. If nothing else, the K6-III gave AMD experience adding the L2 on chip. It should not be difficult for them to add 512 KB L2 to the K7 in 0.13u (or maybe even 0.18u). But, off chip high speed SRAMs should be available by that time, also. I don't know. I would like to see a duel core SMP BiAthlon on-a-chip in 0.13u. It would be a very nice workstation solution.
