Dick, DEC seems to have good technology but it sounds like their marketing is in disarray. They may end up squandering the lead they had with the Alpha. However, if they ever do get their house in order, the stock could be a big winner. Here's a comparison of price to sales ratios: DEC 0.34 IBM 0.96 HWP 1.34 COMS 2.00 USRX 2.36 If they ever get house in order (improved marketing, better margins), the stock should be a big winner. If they get a valuation closer to IBM's you're looking at a 3-bagger. Seems realistic. Hey, see how I included the P/S for COMS and USRX to keep this on topic? Always thinking... Hassell
