Y2K to cause increased travel risk and political stresses << Foreign workers and expatriates are often times at greater risk in times of political stress. Y2K could pose extra security burdens on firms and their staffs. The map above, indicates higher risk countries with darker shades. White countries indicate areas where an accurate assessment was not feasible. Y2K poses special challenges to firms or individuals operating in foreign countries. During times of political stress, foreign entities and individuals are often times the focal point for frustration and anger.
