Jon: Canada's little free Internet company, Cybersurf (CY:ASE), jumped up big the last couple of days now at $3.50/sh.. They were only operating in 2 cities in Alberta, (Calgary and Edmonton). The reason for the big rise, they say, is they are about to introduce free Internet into Toronto, Ontario. Cybersurf has about 120,000 subscribers currently. (I'd say if Cybersurf had 430,000 subscribers like X-Stream would they be $13.00/sh approx.) There is no Free Internet in my area of Canada. My lap top is hooked up to a phone line and I pay $35.00/month. I pay $58.00/month for my home computer, an Internet cable hook-up. I was just offered a special deal where instead of paying a monthly charge for their cable modum plus, plus, I can buy their cable modum that was $350 on sale for $200. Then instead of paying $58.00/month, I will be paying about $40.00/month. With the jump of Cybersurf shares just moving into Toronto can you imagine the jump in Cybersurf if they were moving into a large city like London, England or into Continental Europe like X-Stream? X-Stream is now working on 1/2 million subscribers will they pick up 1 million subscribers in a population of 70 million in the UK, how many subscribers can X-Stream expect in Europe with a population of 370 million.???? |
