MDMI - DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 1999--Massimo Da Milano Inc.
(OTC BB:MDMI) today announced that it has reached an agreement with
Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., to make its famous Massimo's bakery products
available through selected Sam's Clubs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
The agreement calls for MDMI bakery products, including Massimo's
signature product Massimo's "Stirato Roll," to be offered in selected
Sam's Clubs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In addition to the Stirato
roll, Massimo's will offer its Marble, Rye, Pugliese Loaf, Cracked
Wheat, Sourdough and Stirato Loaf. Massimo's also intends to offer its
seasonal specialty bakery products as part of this agreement.
According to Crawford Shaw, Jr., "We are proud to have this
agreement with Sam's Club and look forward to working with the Sam's
Club organization. This agreement offers us the opportunity to deliver
our premium bakery products to the huge shopping club market
represented by the Sam's Club Members."
MDMI is a commercial Bakery producing breads, rolls and pastries
and has served the Dallas market for over 14 years. MDMI customers
include prestigious hotels and restaurant establishments. MDMI offers
over 50 varieties of breads, pastries, cookies and cakes, in addition
to offering a complete line of coffee, pastries and other unique
products including Zing Zang, and BAWLS Guarana via MDMI's Web site,

MDMI is also the franchiser of the Java Centrale Coffee Cafe
chain. Java Centrale has franchises in Texas, Arizona and California.
Java Centrale's objective is to become the leading specialty coffee
and "food with a flair" chain of kiosks in upscale and high-visibility
locations, where there is a heavy concentration of traffic, and will
compete directly with Starbuck's Coffee (Nasdaq:SBUX), Peabodys Coffee

stock quotes, buy coffee and MDMI bakery items, play interactive
games, visit chat rooms via a stand alone terminal which accepts cash
