Rudedog,
Nobody, absolutely nobody, ever said that.

>>some of the experts on this thread saw no value as recently
as two months ago for dell to do anything different...<<

You show me one post containing such a statement and I will eat my Dell hat. Key word here, Rudedog, is "anything". The statement is obviously false on its face, absolutes usually are. Edamo could have said, "You are right, I exaggerated just a tad" but he would rather call people names.

I assume he based his claim on MH's position that handheld devices were too small a market to significantly contribute to Dell's revenue and MH's position that it is better for Dell to wait for a market to develop for small, pretty machines before they jumped in, which they apparently are doing now. Neither position can be construed as believing "no value... for Dell doing anything different."

Edamo can have any opinion he wants to but when he attributes opinions to others he has a consistant track record of twisting their words to support his contentions. That rubs me wrong every time and I will continue to call him on it.
