I would be real surprised if Sony actually accepts 600 MHz parts for PSII production. One thing about video games is that programmers write code that is based on exact clock count and doesn't port to machines with different clock count. These video game machines typically have a lifetime of four years. If Sony intros PSII with 600 MHz drdrams then they will have to stick with 600 MHz for four years on their top of the line product.
