A little OT but I just read a rave review for a new novel, which I am looking for, with the insurance business at its base..."California Fire & Life" - sorry don't have author's name. It is about an investigation of an insurance claim in which an elderly woman dies in a massive house fire. Needless to say, the grieving widower is a suspect, and the story goes from there. Premise of the book appealed to me since I'm a fan of "The New Detectives" on Discovery Channel. FWIW.
