RE: As I said in an earlier post, DELL's offering does have some unique features and is very well thought out, but the general category is one where DELL had been missing capability which this offering fills, rather than a major step ahead. The link to MSFT is significant. This is an area which DELL has had to "sell around" in the past, so the offering makes the salesman's job a little easier.

Thanks, I hadn't read this in one of your previous posts...What I was referring to with the DELLWEB service as being the ultimate lever was the belief that because DELL is direct and the others are indirect (HP CPQ IBM)....the indirect model cannot fully support virtual integration - they have
no history of what the customer has done in the past...
